Getting to Know the News Feed

The News Feed is the place where you can see what's happening with your Facebook Friends. As your Friends post status updates, photos, links, and more, those posts will appear as stories in your News Feed.

To Access the News Feed:

When you navigate to Facebook.com, you'll be automatically taken to the Home page, which contains the News Feed.

• To navigate to the News Feed from another page on Facebook, click the Facebook logo in the top-left corner of the screen.

If you're just getting starting with Facebook, navigating to Facebook.com or clicking the Facebook logo may take you to a Welcome page instead. To get to the News Feed from the Welcome page, just click the News Feed tab in the left sidebar. The Welcome page will stop showing up after you've been on Facebook for a while.
